Hey, its me again!
Hey, its Andi yet again. I'm pretty sure you're tired of hearing my boring updates and hopefully maybe next time you'll get to hear from someone else.

Wow, alot has happened in the past couple of months. Neither Viy nor Josh worked out as a drummer and I have no idea what is up with Tony but never fear we have a new member. Her name is Whitney and she's our new drummer. Finally, we have someone whose as into it as we are and that's pretty compatable with everyone.

We've been listening to this really awesome band around here practice called Platypus Rex. If you're in the N-Town area, be sure to check them out! They have alot of their own material but do cover songs from bands such as Finch, Thrice, Brand New, Blink, etc. We might open for them with an acoustic set in October for a pre-Balloon Fest party.

Mel and I have been working on songs both musically and lyrically, and we're thinking by maybe January or February, we'll have our demo out. So stayed tuned!

Beacoup Amoire,
Andi

Benefit Festival, New Songs, and All the Rest!
Hey, Hey. This be the Andi again, word. Ok, enough with being ghetto.. this public school is getting to me. We decided to ditch "Ball and Chain" for our demo due to legalities and instead we are using a song that Mel wrote about her perfect guy which has some really awesome riffs. We are still working acoustically and anxiously waiting on a drummer. Tony, a friend of ours, mentioned that he might play lead guitar for us once he "practiced enough". I am hoping that will work out as well. Its going to be tough once Mel heads to college this Fall in Cleveland whilst I withstand my final year of highschool here in N-town.

Oh, and for the exciting news, we somehow weaseled our way into maybe booking the band Never Heard of It, either in N-Town or V-Town and will more than likely be opening for them whether its an acoustic set or an actual set. Its going to be a benefit show for a girl that wrecked here and can't afford to pay her hospital bills. We are hoping to book some other sweet bands as well, so if you're reading this and you're in a really cool band and wouldn't mind traveling to the dirtay souff, send me an IM shout @ GALguitarist on AIM or email us @ goodauthorityline@yahoo.com!

Rockin' in the Free World,
-Andi-

Hey, This is Andi from Good Authority Line and this is the first official website. We decided that geocities wasn't really the best bet for a band site since I can't quite figure out their templates and I'm no computer genius.

Mel and I have been working on songs constantly here lately. Currently, we have mastered "Reality Bytes in a Fantasy World", "Life as a Carousel", and a ska riffed cover of Social D's "Ball and Chain". We are also working on guitarwork for "Stuck up Popstars" and revising lyrics for "Leaving You" and "I'm So Original, Just Like All My Friends".

We are still searching for a drummer and possible second guitarist. Anyone in the Mississippi area whose interested, drop a line. We are to put up fliers this weekend in the local music shops, that is if theyre opened.

Hopefully by this Fall, we'll have our band lineup and will be able to release our four-song demo and send it out to some record companies. As of now we're just working acoustically and will probably release some acoustic demos online before releasing the actual songs. I'll keep you guys posted.

Later Days,
Andi
